This lead time allows for clear communication of any preferences or important information, ensuring your guide can make the necessary preparations. It also gives us the opportunity to share any relevant updates about local conditions on the Road to Hāna that may affect your trip.

Recommended Items to Bring and Wear
Breathable clothing – Stay cool and comfortable throughout the day
Swimsuit – Wear or bring one if you plan on getting wet
Jacket or windbreaker – Maui’s microclimates can bring sudden changes; while it’s usually warm on the way to Hāna, it can occasionally get chilly
Raincoat or poncho – Hāna receives rain almost every day of the year!
Hiking shoes and socks (optional) – For those planning to do some trekking
Sandals or flip-flops – Great for comfort and quick drying after water stops
Snacks – We can stop at a grocery store, but doing so will take time away from your adventure in Hāna
